Here there are. Those doofy programs I promised. I'm not a terribly good programmer, nor am I very quick, but I shall post what occasionally gets hacked up. Enjoy!
When I finally got tired of relearning ECB and experimenting, I decided it was time to actually produce something. The first attempt was called Light Psycles, which still isn't done on account it just keeps getting more and more complex. So I did this "lite" version. Keep it simple, stupid... that's my motto! In this one you drive your Lite Psycle around the board trying to snag up as many blocks as you can before you ram into your own light trail... or the dreaded Green Block! (The latter because the collision detection is based on color. heh. Well...) POKE to high speed for a real challange. CoCo 3 users with an RGB or VGA monitor will want to type PALETTE RGB before RUNning this one. .dsk format CoCo 1/2/3 4K Color BASIC DOWNLOAD HERE

Some random stuff, one-liners and bits. Nothing particularly spectacular here, but a couple might be useful. Let's see, there's a bouncy program, which was one of the first I wrote after turning the CoCo on for the first time again. And text screen POKE character lister thingie is actually pretty handy if you're working in that mode. Most run on a 4K Color BASIC machine, but I'm sure some will required Extended Color BASIC. I'll be updating this one occasionally. See date below. Last Updated: 1/10/07 .dsk format CoCo 1/2/3 various DOWNLOAD HERE

Pumpkin Dash came about because I suddenly got the bright idea to write up a game program for Halloween 06. This was on October 29th. So, I spent about 4 hours in the wee hours of the 30th hammering this together. The I realized that I didn't have any way to get it from the CoCo to the PC, so it sat there on disk until months later when I hooked up the Cloud-9 DriveWire and transferred it to the PC. So here it is. Late, but here. I would say this is my first "complete" program. As in it has a title screen, instructions, level difficulty settings, and a proper exit. It could use a few more bells and whistles, but at some point, at 4 A.M. good enough is good enough. :) To suggest this is a blatant rip off of Richard Ramella's Broken Field Nightmare, that appeared in Elmer's Arcade way back when, would be... well, probably fair. In my defense, I consider it more of a homage. And I did code it out of my head with out peeking at that program... and this one uses joysticks instead of a keyboard... and there's a target to hit... and it's guy running with a pumpkin instead of football players... so.... heh. Not as slick and brilliant as the original, but still a fun game. CoCo 3 user's with RGB or VGA monitors please type PALETTE RGB before RUNning. .dsk format CoCo 1/2/3 16K Extended Color BASIC Joystick DOWNLOAD HERE

Speak Up! by David Dubowski Classical Computing
Download the first software-only full-voice synthesizer for the CoCo 1/2/3! Written way back in 1982, by Classical Computing's David Dubowski, this is still a wicked cool voice demonstration and useful way to add voice to your BASIC and ML programs. The link below takes you to the download site. You an download the disk image of the original program, which includes both 16K and 32K versions. Use the 32K version for the CoCo 3. Also included is a pdf of the original manual, scanned by David himself, and an interview with David that appeared in CoCo Nutz E-Zine (in Open Office.org format). The zip file has all of the above in one package. CoCo 1/2/3 16K Color BASIC DOWNLOAD HERE
